News: UPDATE - As it's been quiet lately I've added a new board for non-T140, non-Triumph discussions. I'm currently restoring - or just restored - BSA, Ariel, Matchless, Sunbeam and a T150. I'm also  currently building my first combination on an M21 which should be interesting. Please share away, would be good to see more posts here.

Hi Mirko - that's an odd one! Are those both filler caps? And it looks like a disc has maybe been soldered in to the top of the tank also.

A bit of googling revealed this: https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C947820

AJS MODEL R6 1930 348cc For Sale
Reg. No. UY 7935 original Worcester number First Registered 03:05:1930 Engine Number. 108058 ( V5 and old continuation log book give 3135 which is casting number) Frame Number. R108058 So this is a matching numbers bike. Petrol Tank Number. 20 (to Pat. No. 215567) Gearbox Number. 8089 (Sturmey Archer 3 speed)

So maybe from an old AJS??

Yes,I also find this advertisment, but my tank have oil department on the left side, and soldered ring is probably for oil metering device,AJS on the foto have separate oil tank.
