Posting pictures.

Hi everyone, I don't want to tell you all how to suck eggs, but Way Jay asked If I could explain how I post pictures on the forum.
I have a photo hosting account with Photobucket, it is a free service.

Once you have set up a photobucket account you just upload your chosen photo's from your PC using the 'upload images and video' button.
Before uploading any pictures, if you click on 'more options' (just under the upload button) you can select the image size you would like to upload. I have mine set on 15" screen, this fits nicely on the forum.
When you have uploaded your photo's you just copy the IMG code which appears under your picture and paste it into your thread on the forum.

Hi,
thanks for the instructions. I actually right-clicked on one of your pics this morning to find its properties, hoping to see what size it was as I wondered how you got all those large (nice) pictures in on the 150kb this site allows. All the pics I've posted have been re-sized right down to fit the limit (often loosing clarity), but it looks like I'll be signing up for a photobucket account soon.

Hey Steve--GENIUS !!--I have always had trouble posting pics--to the point of linking to Flicker--this would be much better --How much fun we could have posting cool pics--I really enjoyed yer travel log-  One of the cool things about this group is that it is not too big--we will have to figure out what to if it becomes really popular--yers, WayJay

Don't go there, I've seen how the BOC has changed over the last couple of years and (in my opinion obviously) it's not been entirely for the better. Having been a member for over 6 years, recent events that have required Colin to step in have had me considering leaving and just residing here. We're able here (as you say, small numbers) to have banter without it getting out of control.

Hi  StevieP  I am with ya on this regarding BOG, It got not a little spun out during my drilling posts. I am just gonna stay hear ( until I am banned).   Maybe we can make a photo section --what a you guys think? --JJ
